Austin L. Alfonso

Austin L. Alfonso is a Partner at Alfonso & Berriz, where he handles all types of personal injury matters across the state including auto accidents, premises liability, defective products, and wrongful death cases, among others.

Austin graduated from the University of California at San Diego in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He played collegiate golf at UCSD all four years and earned various accolades as an NCAA athlete. In 2014, he graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law. While in law school, he served on the Pepperdine Law Review and worked for a federal court judge.

After graduating law school and passing the bar exam, Austin worked for a well-known defense firm in Los Angeles defending some of the nation’s largest insurance companies. There, he discovered how insurance companies evaluate claims and the tactics they employ to avoid paying.

Since establishing his Plaintiff practice, he now litigates against public entities, large corporations, and major insurance carriers, knowing what buttons to press to drive the best results for his clients. Some recent results include $1,000,000+ recoveries against the likes of State Farm, Allstate, and the State of California. He prides himself on being accessible and personally handling cases from inception all the way through settlement or trial.
