Jacob A. O. Stub
Jacob A. O. Stub grew up in Pomona Valley, in Southern California, and graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and communication studies. In 1985, he graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law with a Juris Doctorate and has been admitted to practice law in California, Federal Court in the United States District Court, Central District Court of California.
He worked for firms in Los Angeles and San Francisco, practicing in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability and general civil litigation, always focusing on personal and catastrophic injuries. In 1998, Jake was recruited by a national insurance company to be their Senior Trial Attorney at their law offices in Ventura.
In 2004, Jake was elected to the most prestigious professional trial organization, the American Board of Trial Advocates and has tried over 40 jury trials to verdict.
He took the position of Managing Attorney in 2007 and served in that capacity through January 2016 leading an industry-leading team of trial attorneys, again focusing on personal injury trials throughout Southern and Central California. In early 2016, Mr. Stub joined forces with Armando J. Berriz. Mr. Stub has already represented hundreds of injured victims, settling multiple six figure and seven figure cases, and recovering millions of dollars in the aggregate on behalf of his clients.
